Robert David

Robert David Dr. David received his doctorate in Biochemistry from Creighton Medical School in Omaha and did his post-doctoral training at the Wake-Forrest Medical Center. He served as technical director for Damon/Metpath/Corning/Quest laboratories and for Quintiles, a pharmaceutical testing laboratory. He joined Metametrix in 1996 as Laboratory Director and is instrumental in developing new laboratory procedures for clinical tests, quality control, laboratory automation and the integration of new assays from research into the clinical laboratory.

Reading the current scientific literature on vitamin E is enough to drive a normal person crazy. One scientific study may claim that vitamin E benefits heart disease while another claims that it not only has no effect, but it may actually harm you. Since many of these studies come from prestigious universities and government agencies, who are you to believe?

Dates for 2010 Applying Laboratory Evaluations Seminars

This seminar is geared toward clinicians who want to expand their practices and improve clinical outcomes by effectively integrating functional laboratory testing.

The basics of amino acids, organic acids, GI function, and IgG4 responses are covered over the course of 2 days. Networking opportunities are also offered to meet other clinicians using functional testing to improve clinical outcomes.
