Irritable bowel syndrome and GI Effects

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a blanket term for a variety of diseases causing discomfort in the gastro-intestinal tract. It is characterized by chronic abdominal pain, discomfort, bloating, and alteration of bowel habits. Several conditions may present as IBS including celiac disease, mild infections, parasitic infections, and several inflammatory bowel diseases. This case includes before and after GI Effects tests of a patient with IBS.
